Intimacy with pregnant woman

Question

As salaam alaykum cheick, Are pregnant women allowed to have intercourse with their husbands? Regardless of how many months they are and if they are able to? Jazzak Allahu khayran!

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuhu

Intercourse during the pregnancy is permissible.

 

However you should consult with a specialist gynaecologist to protect and safeguard the health of your wife and child.
