What is the correct Arabic spelling of the word Asheer?

As salam alaykum:

With regards to your fatwa number 19630.......you ementioned that the name Asher means: companion, associate, comrade, friend. Could you please tell me how to spell this name is Arabic....?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykumwa-rahmatullāhiwa-barakātuh.

The Arabic spelling of the word “Asheer” is “عشير”.
