I signed in two years bond. Now they appointed me in banking an finance domain. As I am a fresher, i am not able to ask them to change domain. I don't know what coding i should have to do. But mostly i will be engaged in maintaining the code written by some other. I can change the domain after some experience only. Is it jayiz and my brother is in third year of aaleem and he is an hafiz. Can i spend my salary on him and other household expenses? Jazakallah.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

In today’s day and age of complex technological advancements and progression, the matter of assisting in sin becomes rather complex and difficult to determine. This is due to the increasing proliferation of job profiles, departments, etc.

In order for us to issue a ruling, kindly answer the following questions:

1. What is your current job profile in the Banking Department?

2. Is the two year bond part of your job package?

3. What type of software code will you be maintaining?

And Allah Ta’āla Knows Best
