Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

Ameen and Ayman are good names to keep.

Ameen means trustworthy, honest, faithful. It is also one of the titles of our beloved Muhammad Salallahu Alaihi wa Salam. (Names for Muslim Children; Pg.26; Darul-Ishaat – 1991). Ameen is a more appropriate spelling.

Ayman is from the root word Yumnun [1] which means one who is blessed.[2]&[3] (Lisanul Arab; Pg. 464; Darul Hadith, Ed 2003)
