Can I work as a bank teller?

Question

Can i work as a bank teller in a bank that runs on interest?

Answer

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

A bank teller is a staff member of the bank whose job entails dealing directly with the public and handling routine banking transactions like deposits, withdrawals, etc.  If this is your job description then there is leeway to work as a bank teller.
