Title

Is it permissible to consuming milk which has blessed by a Jewish Rabbi?

Question

Are muslims allowed to drink the milk that is blessed by a Jew priest?

Answer

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

As muslims, we are sensitive to our faith (aqeedah) and values. We do not compromise in our aqeedah and do not show complacency to anything contrary to our aqeedah. We are different from the Jews in our aqeedah and in our values. It was the attitude of the Sahabah to resent even any information from the Jews. Let aside eating their food.

How did a situation arise for a muslim to drink the milk blessed by a Jewish priest? This indicates a close association with the Jews. If so, such an attitude is detrimental to ones Islamic values. The issue is not really the milk. Milk is pure wholesome and Halal. It is the circumstances around the blessing of the milk. Firstly by a Jew and furthermore a priest who’s beliefs and values are totally corrupted. Drinking such milk will be complacency to the Jewish belief. Therefore, it is not permissible.
