Title

I have an irritating itch in my private part, that can only be satisfied with a warn shower. Could this be masturbation?

Question

Assalmalaikum, May Allah reward you for every effort you have put in to help us understand Islam better.

I'm an unmarried muslimah and sometimes i get this irritation in my private parts that i'm forced to take a hot shower down there to avoid itching and it gives me some sort of intense pleasure and i'm not sure if i'm stimulating myself while doing this or if this is like mastrubation because i have never done it and i don't know how orgasm feels like. i cant differentiate. And if i don't do this i can't control but scratch down there and that really burns afterwards please advice.

Salaam.

Answer

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

You have a medical condition. You should refer to your Physician for medical help. Therefore, there will be no need to take a shower. The consequent concerns will also be addressed Inshallah.
