Marriage on 12 rabi al awal

Question

My marriage date is fixed on Rabbi` al Awal 12th day (miladunabi) 1433 inshallah. Many raised questions can we marry on that day. Could you please confirm whether we can marry on that day in quranic and hadith way. And please tell me the significance of marrying on that day. So that I can clear everyone’s doubts.

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible to marry on the 12 of Rabbi` al Awal. There is no significance of marrying on that day.[1]
