Question

Assalam-u-Alaykum,

1). Are the signs of Qiyamah meant to be in any specific order?

Sufi Questions: Are they Permissible?

2). Is it permissible to pray very fast to where one barely has time to properly recite the tasbeeh and/or position properly? In the same context, what about reciting Quran extremely rapidly (outside of salah)?

3). If one makes the argument that they can properly recite and prostrate properly, is it then permissible to pray salaat/recite Quran in such quick nature? I posed this question to the Sufi's I saw doing this, which they reply that praying/reciting Quran very rapidly decreases the chances of shaytaan of disturbing you (in salaat, for example). Is this a correct view?

3). Is it permissible to put your hand on your chest everytime you hear Nabi (SAW)'s name?

4). Is it permissible to have pictures all around the prayer room (at home) of their sheikh, where they will pray and do zikr?

It is difficult to have a pious scholar in North America to answer such specific questions about Sufism, as it is a broad subject. If possible, please forward this to a senior member of our brothers in Darul Iftaa' if one does not know the answer(s) to any of the Sufi questions, as this is a very big "movement" in North America with regards to doing this practices in their ibadaa'. Thank you.
