Is there any dua to be recited before a man is married so that he will get a rightious wife in future?

Question

Is there any dua to be recited before a man is married so that he will get a rightious wife in future

Answer

Assalāmu `alaikum Warahmatullāhi Wabrakatuh,

رَبَّنَا هَبْ لَنَا مِنْ أَزْوَاجِنَا وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا قُرَّةَ أَعْيُنٍ

O Our Lord, grant us coolness of eyes through our spouses and off-springs.

(Quran 25:74)

Apart from making this dua follow the guidelines of Shariah in making a decision.

When one identifies a suitable marriage partner,

·        Consult with appropriate people.

·        Make Istikharah

·        Turn to Allah and continuously make dua.

And Allah Ta'āla Knows Best,
