Our work is just to get required information about the accident from the person and information about the third party and pass on the information to Law firm, most of our clients are non-Muslims. Would this project be permissible?

Question

I run a call center.

The project which we are working on is from UK. As in UK their is government policy to insured the car, before coming on to the road, so it is illegal if you don't have insurance of the car.

The project name is injury claim, in this project if someone had accident in last 3 years and that person is not on fault, the third party have to compensate him for his injuries we gather information from him, and gave that information to solicitor(law firm).

Our work is just to get required information about the accident from the person and information about the third party and pass on the information to Law firm, most of our clients are non-Muslims. Would this project be permissible?

Answer

Assalāmu `alaikum Warahmatullāhi Wabrakatuh,

The function of the call center as explained by yourself is to solicit information from your clients about the accident and about the third party company and forward the information to the law firm. This function of the call center is permissible.
