Question

What is the ruling of Biogas (which is extracted from 'Najas') for cooking. is the smoke of the 'Najas' is Najas?

Answer

In the name of Allāh, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh

It will be permissible to use biogas for cooking purposes. The gas is only being used as an implement to cook, not as an ingredient in the food itself. The smoke which eminates will not effect the food whatsoever.
