Q2) Are there any conditions for women to attend womens only swimming classes?

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

It is permissible for women to attend women’s-only swimming classes with other Muslim or non-Muslim women if:

1. They properly cover their ‘awrah
2. Their clothing is appropriate and not revealing, especially after becoming wet
3. No non-mahram man is able to see them, including any male lifeguards or security personnel
4. They can safeguard their gazes from looking at the ‘awrah of other women, in case of them not covering properly
5. There is no fear of other women describing the Muslim women’s body, face, or hair to other non-mahram men
6. The environment is free from other harms and evils, such as music

يجوز أن ينظر الرجل إلى الرجل إلى جميع جسده إلا إلى عورته وعورته ما بين سرته حتى يجاوز ركبته...نظر المرأة إلى المرأة كنظر الرجل إلى الرجل
