Assalam-o-Alikum,

Immigration officer refuse my sponsorship case of permanent residence in

(My wife is permanent resident of ) and objection that, "at the time of my marriage on 28th April 2007. I was the spouse of another person."

My question is.

1)      Does the NIKAH with my 1st wife after serving notice of 3 time divorce remain intact or divorce (TALAAQ) was fully imposed at the spot?

2)      Is my 2nd marriage on 28th April 2007, correct and legitimate as per SHARIA or not?

I have to show the answer of this question in the Immigration Appeal Division,
