QUESTION:  1

The Husband leveled the charges of adultery against his wife and pronounced her as non-Muslim. The wife and her father 

demanded him to come and complete the divorce requirements by him as per law of land in the Country’s Court. Contrary to

that and without proving the charges, the Husband nominated his parents as his representative to deal with & finalize his

divorce,

 “I am not in favor of DIVORCE at all, but if you are inclined to it so much then talk to my parents on 08.11.2008 after they

returned from Umerah.”

The parents of the boy on 14.11.2008 communicated to the girl and her father the accaptance of the DIVORCE on behalf of

their son without proving the charges,

“Anyhow I simply want to remind you concerning settlement of the issue i.e.  If you & your daughter are determined to break

the relationship without any solid reasons thinking DIVORCE is the only panacea for it, we reluctantly & unwillingly accept

your proposal. But now lets us proceed further to finish it up once for all without lengthening it further for no use”
 
Viewing the statements above from the Husband & his parents, which type of Islamic Divorce is effected to the wife. I am the

father of the said girl who needs the Islamic ruling to settle the issues with her in – laws. Please help me as the matter is

urgent. Jazakallah.

QUESTION: 2

The Husband was emotionally harming his wife on one and other excuses in the presence of his mother-in-law (girl’s mother).

The mother-in-law advised him not to emotionally harm his wife being pregnant and try to keep her happy during this pregnancy

period. Contrary to that, he in a fit of anger dictated his mother-in-law to get out from my home along with her daughter (his

wife). His mother-in-law and his wife could not do so as they were in foreign land. His mother-in-law and his wife asked him for

travel tickets and requirement of EXIT VISA in the Passports which he arranged and sent them to Home Country. Viewing the

statement above from the Husband, which type of Islamic Divorce is effected to the wife. I am the father of the said girl who

needs the Islamic ruling to settle the issues with her in-laws. Please help me as the matter is urgent. Jazakallah.
