Question

Assalaamalaikum, Dearest Mufti, I'm an Indian student about to enter the undergrad course in a Saudi English University as I did all my schooling here. Inshallah before beginning my new institute, I along with two of my friends are planning to go in the path of Allah (Jamaat) for four months with mashwarah in Nizamuddin, Delhi. Please make dua that Allah makes our Islaah and choses us to be means for the hidayat and Islaah of many. Mufti Saab, after my graduation from the university which might take about 6 years, since I have a burning desire to be an Aalim of Deen,

I'd like to seek assistance in finding the best and authentic madrassa for me which would be pure Ahl-Assunnah one following Hanafi School of thought and with Deobandi Manhaj. I'd like a "maahoal" (atmosphere) which is very simple and highly spritually charged which was the case with Darul Uloom, Deoband some years back. Do you know of its rohaani condition now? I have Madrassa Mazahir-ul-Uloom, Saharanpur and Darul-uloom, Bury, UK in my mind. What's your say regarding these? Moulvi Saab, What will be beneficial for me if I'd had to take up the full course (8 years) with Mufti course. But as I’m around 19 years old now, by the time I finish up with my Bach. degree, I'll be around 24 years old. Will it be a bit too late to enroll in such Islamic institutions because people usually graduate at the age of 18 or 19 from a Madrassa. I also need to marry around 24 or 25, so will my marriage bring any harm to my deeni studies. Talking about marriage, is there any specific dua to get oneself a very pious, God-fearing wife with all superiour traits which any man wants. A few years back when I was in midst of my teens, I have heavily infulenced in a negetive way by some of my so-called friends. I those days I missed a lot of my Salaat in a 3-year period. I later made a lot of Astaghfar for this, sometimes in a sobbing state at Tahajjud.

Is this enough for the forgiveness of my sins. We even were involved in petty stealing and most of the time we indulged in backbiting and slandering. Is there a way my friends can get rid of the sin of stealing and backbiting sins in a way other than returing items back to the victims. (Say, if their address is not known now) Alhamdullilah, Allah Ta'ala gave me hidayat and make deen crystal clear for me. (Allah Ta'ala blessed me with lot of his favors) The remaining years of my adulthood and rest of my life, I want to dedicate it mostly to Allah Ta'ala because He loves the ones who indulge in his Ibaadat from a young age. I also love to be an ardent follower of Sunnah and to live life in a manner of the Sahabah of Prophet Muhammed (SAW). However, Dear Mufti Saab, My Parents even though are involved in the Tableegh work are kind of not encouraging me to become "deendaar" to the extent like the Awliya and the Sahabah. My relatives who are not involved in this work call me names sometimes like, "Old Man", "Extreme", etc. for the reasons that I now sport a fist-size beard and try to ignore Dunyawi Talks and Matters. Here, Please explain the meaning of being "MODERATE". I always say that the best of all moderates and balanced were the Hazraat-e-Sahabah. I'm I right here? Some one in my family even told me that it is more important to become a professional in dunya rather than be a professional in Deen and to support their advices, they give the example of Umar Radiallahu'anhu's killer, the man who was professional in weapon making and because Muslims did not have professionals like him, he took undue advantage and also murdered the noble Ameerul Mu'mineen. I did not even mention my plan of becoming an Aalim to anyone in my family and for this I would seek help from you to make them understand the need for Ulama, Muhibbeen of Allah and the Muhibeen of "Akhirat-and-Maut". I also had problems finding the right way to perform "Salaat-ut-Tasbeeh". Can you please detail me on this? (Hanafi way) I'd be very grateful to you, Dear Mufti Saab! Lastly, I'd ask from you any specific prayer or Dua for my results of the final school year as they are going to be out in some days from now. Please remember me in your precious DUAS! Jazakumullah Khair, May Allah grant you all his best in both the worlds! - An Ardent Lover of Ulama-e-Haqq.
