Question

Assalm O Alaikum

I have a husband who has had some kind of change in heart to as he fussing about everything everyday.  He is very verbably abusive to me and his mother.  I don't know what to do to make it better.  I have tried to talking to him wich causes him to become more angry.  He has started cursing about the food in our house, and refussing to eat homecooked food.  He says because everything I and his mother makes is bad.  However, his mother is a well known good cook.  I simply do not know what to do about his abusive behavior and his total lack of respect for all his blessings especially his food. This is going on 2 months now and he continues to get worse.  He even says he respects non Muslims who are known drug users, and crooks.  I don't know what has happened.  He still Prayes 5 times a day, but everything else in his actions are opposite that of a Muslim.  He doesn't even come home but maybe 4 hours a day and those 4 hours are spent yelling and calling us names. He has had a total personality change.

Can you please suggest a prayer I can say to try and get him happy, and eatting?  Jazakallah.
