Answer

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

It is preferable to remove the hair of the armpits by tweezing them. However, it is permissible to shave them.

وفي الابط يجوز الحلق والنتف اولي    (الفتاوي عالمكيرية 5\358 رشيدية)

It is preferable for men to remove the hair of the pubic region from just below the navel onwards by shaving or by using a scissors. However, shaving is more preferable. It is also permissible to use hair removal creams or medication.

[Fataawa Mahmudiya V 19 Pg 446 Faruqiya]

The pubic hair should be removed before the elapse of 40 days.  Imam Muslim in his Sahih narrates:

عن أنس بن مالك قال قال أنس وقت لنا فى قص الشارب وتقليم الأظفار ونتف الإبط وحلق العانة أن لا نترك أكثر من أربعين ليلة (صحيح مسلم)

Anas (Radhiyallahu Anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (Sallalahu Alaihi Wasallam) stipulated the time for trimming the mustache, clipping the nails, plucking the armpit hair, shaving the private parts, that it should not exceed forty days. (Sahih Muslim)

And Allah knows best
