When I was in india I used to paint pictures .Now i came to know that from a "'hadeeth''.It is saying that Allah has cursed the man who paint pictures .can you please carify my doubt because I am ready to tollerate anything to get Jennaaa...Please help me..............

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

Sayyiduna Abu Talha رضي الله تعالى relates that Nabi صلى الله عليه و سلم mentioned:

صحيح البخاري – 5949 دار الفكر

 5605 - حدثنا آدم حدثنا ابن أبي ذئب عن الزهري عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن عتبة عن ابن عباس عن أبي طلحة رضي الله عنهم قال

 : قال النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم ( لا تدخل الملائكة بيتا فيه كلب ولا تصاوير )

The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or pictures.

صحيح البخاري 2225 دار الفكر

 حدثنا عبد الله بن عبد الوهاب حدثنا يزيد بن زريع أخبرنا عوف عن سعيد بن أبي الحسن قال: كنت عند ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما إذ أتاه رجل فقال يا أبا عباس إني إنسان إنما معيشتي من صنعة يدي وإني أصنع هذه التصاوير . فقال ابن عباس لا أحدثك إلا ما سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول سمعته يقول ( من صور صورة فإن الله معذبه حتى ينفخ فيها الروح وليس بنافخ فيها أبدا ) . فربا الرجل ربوة شديدة واصفر وجهه فقال ويحك إن أبيت إلا أن تصنع فعليك بهذا الشجر كل شيء ليس فيه روح

قال أبو عبد الله سمع سعيد بن أبي عروبة من النضر بن أنس هذا الواحد

Sa’eed رحمه الله تعالىrelates that he was by Ibn Abbas رضي الله تعالى عنهwhen a person came and said: O father of Abbas! Verily I earn my livelihood from the earnings of my hands, and I make pictures. Ibn Abbas رضي الله تعالى عنه said should I not inform you of what I heard Rasulullah صلى الله عليه و سلم say? I heard Nabi صلى الله عليه و سلم say whoever draws any picture Allah Ta’ala will punish him until he blows a soul into that picture and he will never ever be able to blow a soul into it. Upon hearing this, this person passed wind and turned yellow in the face. Ibn Abbas رضي الله تعالى عنهtold him if you refuse but to draw then, you should draw stuff which does not have a soul like a tree.
