Can I marry My phuphi's daughter (My father's sister's daughter).

Answer

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

It is permissible to marry your Phuphi’s daughter (Father’s sister’s daughter).She is not amongst those with whom nikah is prohibited.

ولا ببنته لما تلونا ولا ببنت ولده وإن سفلت للإجماع ولا بأخته ولا ببنات أخته ولا ببنات أخيه ولا بعمته ولا بخالته لأن حرمتهن منصوص عليها في هذه الآيةح

(الهدايه,ص307  ج2)

وأحِلَّ لكُم ما وراء ذلِكُم (سورة النساء 24 )

قال ابن كثير رحمهم الله تعالى تحت هذه الايه: أى ماعدا من ذكرن من المحارم , هن لكم حلال ( تفسير ابن كثير, دار طيبة للنشر والتوزيع,ص258  ج2)

أى أبيح لكم من النساء سوى ماحرم عليكم (تفسير المنير , دار الفكر بيرت,ص6  ج5)
