Question

as-sal-amo-alik-kum

                           I

appreciate the reply given to my previous question regarding the sleeves of Rasulullah (SAW).
I would like to know that what was the length of parting of Qamis of Rasulullah (SAW) (In Indian/Pakistani Kurta there is parting of cloth from thigh to end of kurta while in Saudi Thowb/Jubbah there is no parting). I have heard from the mudarris e haram Maulana Makki Al Hijazi that the parting of Qamis of Rasulullah (SAW) was from knee to the middle of the calf. In our language parting is called as 'chak'.
