Title

My mother's sister husband is mahram or non mahram for my sister.Is she needed to hijab from him.

Question

My mother's sister husband is  mahram or non mahram for my sister.Is she needed to hijab from him.

Answer

 

 

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

 

Your mother’s sister’s husband is ghair mahram to your sister. Therefore hijaab is necessary between them.

وَأُحِلَّ لَكُمْ مَا وَرَاءَ ذَلِكُمْ (سورة النساء ) قال ابن كثير رحمه الله تحت هذه الاية: اي ما عدا من ذكرن من المحارم هن لكم حلال. (تفسير ابن كثير )
