Question

I and my family are Shia from Pakistan but residents of Kuwait. I have a problem if u cld help me out.

We had done the Nikha Cermony of My daughter K.Batool Abbas with one of her cousin in Pakistan by the Name of Ehitsham Abbas, we did the Nikha paper work to get the guy to kuwait and work.

Our daughter Batool never lived with him as his wife coz we did not have the traditional cermony.

within 2 months we discovered that the guy was not compatiable with our daughter and his parents were into lot of lies, in due course we also discover that he was having a relationship with one of his male friends of which i have the proof of messages in my cell.

so me and my family decided to get the divorce from the court in pakistan which was done and completed in 3 stages.

but now i got to understand that there is another thing which is known as the Sega  which should be read out in the presence of the boy .

pls advise as i want to get my daughter married, or if u could issue us a fatwa so as she wants to marry coz the boys family refused to abide by this.

a distraught Mother.
