Title

I am worried i may have committed Shirk

Question

My question is that: In the past i was living in ignorance (was not practicing) and didnt have much knowledge, now Alhamduli-Lah i am practicing and have gained little knowledge... I have repented of the past one thing which i am exremely worried about is i think i may have commited shirk, once i was looking up in the sky's and made dua, i dont know wether i called upon Allah or the sky moon cloud etc

Will Allah Talha forgive me for this sin? I have asked another Imam/Sheikh and been told yes Allah will forgive me. Can you please provide some evidence.

Can i ask which Madhab you follow?

Answer

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

Since you have already repented, let bygones be bygones. Allah, the Most Compassionate, must have forgiven you.

The Quran declares that Allah forgives all the sins (of the believers when they turn towards him in repentance).

And Allah knows best
