Question

salam,

I have been in a relationship with a girl I love very much for almost 4years. Our relationship has been a secret from my family as she is a widow with 3 children and is older than me. In febuary I told my family as we wanted to get married because we love each other very much. This girl has been a practising muslim for the last 3 years, my family will not agree to this marriage and have taken me away from her and forbidden me to see her or contact her. I have found it real difficult not to contact her or see her so have given in and I call her when I can and see her when I can if only for a few minutes. My heart tells me to be with her but my family keep telling me in Islam you are to keep your parents happy, they want to take me to pakistan for a arranged marriage which I dont want. I have noone to support me at home they all keep saying forget her and go to pakistan and get married, I cant forget her I love her! I will be destroying her life my life and the person who I have to marry life if I go ahead with what my parents want me to do. Can you please help me or advise me.

Maybe you could perform ishtikarah for us as I have noone to do it for me.

my name is Adeel Abrar
