Title

Is it permisable to open a franchise business and have to abide by there rules of insurance to business?

Question

1. I would like to know whther my wifes wudhu breaks if she changes the napkin of our child who is two years and four months old? Must she make wudhu again?

2. Mufti I got an investment with standard bank and now I want to Sell, Its a unit trusts. My contributon is R10000-00 and the total that I will receive in excess is R30 000-00. Which means that the R20000-00 is interst and must be distributed to charity?Am I correct in saying the above?

3.Mufti I had interest monry in my bank account To the amount of R3000-00 whaich I kept in my savings account? When I purchased my car I mistakenly utilse the interst money.I realise once I purchased the car that I used the interst money. How can I solve this distrbution of interst money which I contributed to purchasing my car? What must I do do rectify as this is a big worry as I will be questionable for my actions pertaining to Riba?

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

  1. The Wudhu will not break by merely changing the diaper of a baby.
  2. The excess of R20 000 must be disposed off by giving it to the poor and needy.
  3. You may replace the interest amount with other monies and make Tawbah to Allah for the mistake.
