Title

Hoor or marriage partners in Jannah?

Question

Marriage partners are they chosen by Allah Whoever is your marriage partner in this duniya will they be your marriage partner in the akhriah will all men get houris even though they have been married in this duniya. Would this not course distress to the wife in the akriah if her husband has all these maidens why are houris granted to men. Please explain the concept for this. Can you suggest reading material

I would like to know what the true status of women is in Islam, especially considering the following: (I have phrased the following in question form in case there is an ayah or mutawaatir hadith that expressly says women are spiritually equal to men, in which case it might constitute kufr.)

From your site I get the impression that as long as a couple gets into Jannah, the women will always be with their husbands and the husbands will always have many wives. Are the woman's desires being dismissed?

I have read that in Jannah a man will be blessed with maidens (Hoors) and if his wife joins him in Jannat she will be Queen of all maidens
