Women making a bun in the hair

Question

1. Can you please  tell me how a muslim girl is allowed to  tie her hair,i have heard that our prophet (S.A.W)(peace and blessings be upon him) disliked it when the hair was tied in a low bun.Is this true?
2. And is a women allowed to wear sandals outside the house when her cloak falls below her ankles.Thank You.May Allah reward you well.

Answer

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

  1. She is allowed to make a low bun towards the back of her head. Rasulullah (S.A.W.) disliked the high bun that resembles the hump of a camel.
  2. Yes, she may wear sandals out of her house in this case.
