Title

Im looking for a Hanafi fiqh book with evidences

Question

Im looking for a Hanafi fiqh book with evidenses, i noticed that the written fiqh books on the Hanafi madab are mainly books without evidenses but rather with verdicts like; Nurul Izah, Al Ikhtiyaar, Al-Hadiyya al-alaiyya, Ibn Abidin etc.

Im looking to something like what the Shafiis have like the Gayat ul Ihtisar of Qadi Shudja which is a fiqh book wit on every point an sourced evidense from hadith and/or quran.

Answer

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

Few books of the Hanafi Madhab which state the proofs are:

  1. A’la Al-Sunan – Zafar Ahmad Al-Uthmani Al-Thanwi
  1. Aathar Al-Sunan –Muhammad bin Ali Al-Neemway.  Only Kitab Al-Thahara and Kitab Al-Salah.  Very good discussion on the strenght of  Ahadith.
  1. Al-Hidaya Sharah Bidaya Al-Mubtadi – Burhan Al-Deen Abu Al-Hasan Ali bin Abu Bakr Al-Marghinani.  Compares the Madhahib and their proofs briefly.
  1. Nasb Al-Ra’ya – Jamal Al-Deen Abu Muhammad Abdullah bin Yusuf Al-Zaila’ee. Makes Takhreej of the Ahadith of Al-Hidaya
  1. Al-Binayah Sharah Al-Hidayah Badr Al-Deen Abu Muhammad Mahmood bin Ahmed Al-‘Aani.  Commentary of Al-Hidaya.  Explains and discusses many proofs that come in Al-Hidaya
  1. Al-Fiqh Al-Hanafi wa Adilatuhu – Asad Muhammad Saeed Al-Sagarjee
  1. Uqood Al-Jawahir Al-Muneefah fi Adilati Madhhab Al-Imam Abu Hanifah – Muhammad Murtadha Al-Zubaidi.  Ahadith narrated by Imam Abu Hanifa which the Aimmah Sittah (the six authentic books of Hadith) have also narrated.
  1. Al-Iktiyar Li Ta’leel Al-Muktar – Abdullah bin Mahmood bin Maudood Al-Musallali Al-Hanafi
