Title

Why is my Istikhara for marriage negative?

Question

I went to see a girl for marriage. She is a pious girl from a good family etc. However, i was very unsure about whether I should marry her or not. I made istikhara and my istikhara was negative. What could be the reasons as to why my istikhara was negative?

Answer

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Istikhara is guidance from Allah. It is not for us to comment of why the Istikhara was negative.
